How the photo to font converter works
Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP under "From an image". The maker reads the lettering style (stroke weight, contrast, serifs, slant and width) and draws A–Z, a–z, numbers and punctuation to match. Pick your languages and the whole font is ready in 1–3 minutes.

Which images work best
Large, sharp letters on a plain background, with at least five or six different letters visible. Flat logos and clean signs work better than photos taken at an angle, with heavy textures, or with letters overlapping images.

When a font finder cannot name the typeface in a picture, this makes a new font with the same look. It is an original font drawn in that style, not a copy of the original file.
